National Park campgrounds are usually located in some of the most scenic areas of the country. Although they usually are not full service facilities with electric, water or showers, they do offer quite a few ranger programs that can be enjoyable and very informative. With the exception of several very busy parks which accept reservations, the majority of these campgrounds are operated on a first-come, first service basis and can become rather crowded during the peak seasons. We recommend that you plan accordingly.

Thanks for the resource. I have now been to national parks in Maine, NH, and Arizona! Cant wait to travel to many others and using a campground is an interesting idea over hotels 🙂
