Paragum Knot (Same as Uni-Knot, Duncan Knot, Hangman’s Noose, Grinner Knot, and Grapevine Knot)
Fly fishing knot used to attach the fly to the tippet; sport fishing knot used to attach the hook/lure to the line.
Materials: monofilament-light to heavy
Advantage: strong knot, very reliable, allows freedom of action
Disadvantage: not good for super lines
